I’m not sure if this poem was
written about walking the Tōkaidō in the region of Hakone, during the rainy season, or
if it was written with walking the coastal path in Cornwall in mind. It could
easily be about one or other, or even both.
White mist hanging,
between moss covered
trunks and boulders.
