This is another one of those
poems which seem to present themselves to me almost fully-formed in both
English and Japanese. But, as always, I’m not 100% sure how well my Japanese
version works – which is perhaps somewhat appropriate in this particular instance.
不確かさ夏の初めて蝉の声

cicadas.
