Leaf 99 – Art Inspired
This poem was written as a
response to a #NaHaiWriMo prompt to write a haiku using the words: ‘Bachelor Pad.’
And naturally, this was the first thing which sprang to mind … (I’ve written
about my fascination with, and my fondness for the Emma Peel era of the 1960s British TV series, ‘The
Avengers’ before – see, Leaf 71).
A dapper bachelor pad
– Steed makes tea
for Mrs Peel.
