This poem was written as a response to #SenseWrds Prompt 75 to the words: Winding, Sunlit, Recognition (without using those words). It reflects a real moment remembered from family holidays in Cornwall.

 

 

Following the narrow path,

zigzagging

down a steep-sided cove

to the silver, shimmering sea

 

– seeing my family ahead of me,

walking into memory.
